With the focus back on Ryo Hazuki, film directors Adam Sipione and Randall Lobb decided it was about time to reveal the trailer to their upcoming documentary on the series, A Gamer's Journey: The Definitive History of Shenmue.
This in depth feature-length look at Shenmue is not only set to explore the games at length, but also the development that when on behind the scenes, and even how much of an influence the 1999 release had on us all.
A Gamer's Journey: The Definitive History of Shenmue will also feature plenty of insider information, and also interviews with familiar faces - and voices. The most notable of these is Corey Marshall, the voice actor who assumed the role of Ryo Hazuki as he set upon the open-world adventure.
No release date has been set for the documentary as of yet, however, the recently released trailer holds a lot of promise for when that day comes.
